I finally got my paws on the last of the Nick Bibby C28 giants thanks to Mr Furious on the Oldhammer Forum (your Orcs are on the way!).
This guy is either Bottle Snortle or BottSnortle depending which advert you believe.
He's got the Gumsnapher head but his weapon was missing unfortunately. I replaced it with a part from the current plastic Giant which is a nice touch of new complimenting aclassic.
So I give you Smouldergaze Ninefingers, Gumsnapper Bottsnortle and Rockabully Witherwattle. Three giant 'brothers' who have been wondering around the badlands and have crossed into the Border Princes looking for food and booze.
I probably use them as part of my Hobgoblin army as 3 Giants are going look awesome wandering about with hordes of green skins at their feet. I also fancy putting on a game where Giant Slayers can test their mettle against the big dumb numpties. I'm thinking of a system of moves written down on cards that you can use to counter the giants random attacks but if you run out of moves be prepared to get twatted by a big log!
They Rock Colin, great job on those. Can't pick a favourite really.
ReplyDeleteThey look splendid. Wonderful skin tones on all three. These giants are great and I too recently managed to purchase one. still looking for the other two! Anyway, good stuff.
ReplyDeleteGlorious. Like photos out of Warhammer Siege or similar.
ReplyDelete"Fee fi four more barrels of ale another basket of calves with sweet chili dip over here please"
Lovely work on these, 3 is a magic number and you have Irished up this guy so nicely that it will surely attract the luck they need to be an effective Warhammer force ;).
ReplyDeleteO my goodness, but these look bloody lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe red nose and black eye add loads to an already characterful sculpt. Great work mate.
Just excellent! Love the brushwork on BottSnottle who has to be my fave out of the trio - so hard to pick a favourite though...
ReplyDeleteYes...fight the giants by themselves! It is so much fun!!! Be sure to have plenty of meat shields. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteAce work! I love the striped pants and unhealthy skin -- but best of all is the boozy expression. You have done Nick Bibby proud. (Sadly, when I look in the mirror, what I see looks a lot like that giant).
ReplyDeleteThose are some truly lovely giants. I love the work you did on his nose. I think I'll keep my distance from that bit of brotherly love. Truly fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMost impressive job, they look wonderful...and so cute!
