Look Sire! The colours are bold and haphazard! A mad man must have painted it! but it smells so new? Maybe the emperor is coming?
There we are. An afternoons spray painting and the Nonanphelion base is painted.
I used six colours. Black base, green on the outside and red on the inside. Grey all over. Bronze over the interior with a busted gold spurt on the outside. A bit of traditional rustiness and we're done.
Here's some figures wandering around to give you some scale.
I even had time today to build a new room. A double sized room that should feature a lot of showdowns in the future.
The board the set up is on is 4'x4' so the base covers a fair bit of it.
Next stage is finding interior fittings, desks, beds, doors bits and bobs to populate the place.
Looks sweet.
ReplyDeleteDude, it's friggin' awesome!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a cross between the Futuristic and Industrial Zones from The Crystal Maze.
You are all about the 90's aren't you, Crystal maze indeed. I remember the shell suits they wore, similar to the ones you wore I think.
DeleteSorry, I didn't reach double figures until the 90's, prior to that it was Transformers and He-man that took up my imagination.....................................
DeleteLooking good WP you need some stuff to go in them now. Oh and some heavy machinery parked outside and costant rain (in scale).
ReplyDeleteWow, really, you leave me speechless. What an effort and what a result. Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, well done sir! The use of a range if spray paints is ingenious and creates a moody lighting. Would love to play in this.
ReplyDeleteWicked cool!
ReplyDeleteIs this LV 426 from aliens? They're coming out of the goddamn walls!
ReplyDeleteTop stuff!
Very impressive indeed
